World of Health Care 2023

Shaping the healthcare of the future

The healthcare industry is rapidly evolving, and with the advancements in technology, the future of healthcare is expected to bring innovative changes. The World of Health Care (WoHC) 2023 discusses  the current state of healthcare and explores new ideas and solutions that can shape the future of the industry.

WoHC 2023 brings together healthcare professionals, policymakers, researchers, and technology experts to share their experiences and insights. The discussions revolve around the topics mentioned bellow. WoHC 2023 aims to foster collaboration and explore ways to create a more patient-centric and efficient healthcare system.

1 - Accelerating digital transformation in healthcare
Digital transformation in healthcare has the potential to improve patient outcomes, increase efficiency, and reduce costs. The implementation of electronic health records, telemedicine, and remote patient monitoring have become integral parts of today's healthcare industry. During this panel, (inter)national experts discuss the influence of implementing digital tools in the delivery of care and cure.

2 - The transition towards healthy ageing, population health management & prevention
As the global population ages and suffers from an increase in chronic conditions, there is a growing need to shift our focus from treating diseases to promoting healthy ageing and prevention. This transition requires a multi-faceted approach that includes lifestyle interventions, early detection, and personalized healthcare. Experts at the WoHC 2023 explore and discuss in this panel the latest research, strategies and innovation around promoting healthy ageing and population health management.

3 - Green & sustainable healthcare of the future
The healthcare industry is a significant contributor to carbon emissions and environmental waste, and it is essential to transition towards a more sustainable and green approach to healthcare. This transition requires a shift in how we design and operate healthcare facilities, as well as how we manufacture and dispose medical equipment and supplies. During this panel, we will discuss latest innovations in sustainable healthcare and explore the economic and social benefits of green healthcare practices.

4 - Partnering for global access to quality care
Access to quality healthcare is a basic human right, yet millions of people around the world lack access to essential healthcare services. Addressing this challenge requires a collaborative effort that involves governments, healthcare providers, grassroots organizations, and innovative organizations. In this panel, we will focus on international collaborations that improve global access to quality care, for example on increasing health insurance coverage in marginalized populations, and the guidance to facilities to provide quality care.
